Hello 3C-ians!

Ben here (agn) LOL.
Anyways, the class camp flag is almost done, thanks to everyone! However, it still needs some finishing touches. So those non-bio students kindly paint the flag during the bio period on Tues. Thanks!

As for the campfire activities, we will be doing a 3C cheer, which will be done by the people who came up with this idea, dance item, cheerleading dance for girls & Hawaii dance for Jeric, Dean, Jiang Maan, Quan Qin, Yi Ying, Jasper, Ben, Sarayutt, Zi Zhong & Xuan Kai.

It will be done during our campfire, which is our last night there. So, please do participate enthusiastically! (:

Do note that everyone would have to try to know the cheer well, if not I would try to get a copy of the cheer for each group.

As for the list of events, on 9 March itself, everyone please have your breakfast before you leave for school, or pack it into your bag & eat it along the way to Kahang.
You will be required to wear your PE T-shirt when you report to school.
Do note that once you pass the malaysian customs, we will be switching bus. The last class to board the bus will get the points deducted. So, 3C, lets aim for getting the best class award & fufil our title of the "best class"! :D

I will distribute the class tee on the camp day itself. But if I can distribute earlier then it would be better. So, we will be wearing the class tee on the 2nd day, during the campfire. That is when we will be doing the campfire activities as well.

Other than that, here are some points to take note.

• You will be able to wash & dry your clothes
• There will be no water heater when you are bathing
• It is complete wilderness, hence it is strongly encouraged that foodstuffs are not brought into the campsite
• We will have to work together as a class to get the best class award!
• We have to be enthusiastic!

Similarly, if you have any other questions or doubts, feel free to ask me (Ben) or Joey. We will answer your questions, otherwise, bring it up to Mdm Ernie.

Lastly, do remember to start packing & remember to bring mosquito repellent! (:

Ben here, Mr Ibrahim has a workshop for chem & bio students. People who are interested, please approach me.
The details of the workshop are as follows.

Event Details
1. Natural Products Research (1 day)
(Suitable for upper sec biology/chemistry students)
Date & Time: 18th Mar 2009 (Wed), 9am – 4pm
Course Fees: $70 per student


During the annual East Zone A*STAR Science Fair organised by our centre, the judges observed that many student chose to carry out research involving natural products and bacteria testing. This natural products workshop for students is thus designed to give students hands-on training in some of the experimental skills involved in natural products research. They can then apply sound experimental techniques when embarking on meaningful and significant research in this area.

*Note: those interested in this workshop should not be involved in the Chemistry workshop mentioned by Mdm Tay. If they are already in the Chem workshop, then they have to opt out if they are interested in this workshop.

Hello all 3C-ians!

I'm currently here to update all of you on the KOREF Camp coming up in March.

First, the rubber shoes which majority of you wants to purchase,
do place an order with Joey ASAP.
Because the KOREF people will be here on Friday, 27 February 2009.
Also, Do be reminded to bring SGD$8.00 when you place your orders.

CLASS FLAG DESIGN
Next, we have to design our class flag. Sounds boring yeah?
But no choice, We have to come up with a design.
We have not come up with a theme yet. So all you can Come up with any ideas that come to your mind!
We will have to finalise our ideas latest by Tuesday [24 February 2009 ]
We will be discussing the various ideas all of you have during CCT or CE periods.
And we will start working on it ASAP.
The colour of the flag is white, Which means, there are no colour restrictions.
The design should be contain 3C, as it serves as a class identity.
The deadline for the flag is on 3rd March 2009.
I know we will be having our Common Tests for the next 2 weeks.
But please do understand that this flag design is equally important.

*Non-bio students, it is highly possible that we will need all of you to stay back on Thursday to complete the class flag.

CAMPFIRE PERFORMANCE
Of course, for every camp that all of you go, a campfire is definitely a must-have!
Therefore, we have to come up with a campfire performance.
It could be a dance,skit,cheer or anything which is feasible for everyone in the class to do! (:
Which means, everyone would be able to play a part in the performance.
We will also be discussing this during our CCT and CE periods.
Feel free to come up with any ideas during our discussions (:

Moat ppl have agreed to it & I decide to go forward with it. Thus, can u guys pls think up of a nickname 4 yrself? Eg. Celestine Lian aka Ms Qian-da or Benjamin Sng aka Mr Ben. For girls, u will be Ms ... while for boys, u will be Mr ... However, pls do nt just use yr own surname or middle/last name as it will be super duper boring. Pls that note that those who uses their own surname or middle/last name, i will be giving new nicknames to u guys. This new nickname WILL NT be subjected to changes. Alright, anw, Jiang Maan has a suggestion.
Shall we adopt last year, 2C's method of giving nicknames? eg. "Ms Pirate"
If majority agrees, then Jiang Maan shall be the one in-charge of this. LOL :X

All right, common tests are like less than 1 week away. Have you all studied/mugged for it? Hopefully you did.
Lets work hard & Ace our common tests & exceed the teacher's "expectations"!

It's been awhile ar. Come on liven up the class blog! :X haha.

Regarding the class blog song, it appears that "Secret Valentine" by We The Kings have the most votes. So, it shall be our class blog song for this term. So lets rotate blog song term-ly. haha.

About class tee, anybody who wants to go surveying the prices do approach Benjamin. & I'll see how 1st. haha!
Basically, we will try to rush it & get it done before our camp, which is on 9 March.

Alright, some final things to take note. Please pay $1.50 to Ong Zhen for February's class fund by this FRIDAY 13 Feb. Also, do take note that Tuesday's final period is swapped with Friday's final period. Meaning, Tues, 1530-1605 is Physics, whereas Fri, 1235-1310 is HCL.

Oh ya! Duty people! Please remember to do your duties. At least stay back for a 5-10 min to do your duties. Thanks! (:
